In the South of France, in Occitanie, Lestap camping is located at the foot of the Black Mountain in the department of the Tarn, near the Herault and the Aude. In the regional Parc of Haut Languedoc.

At the crossroad of Albi, Carcassonne, Montpellier and Toulouse, Our family camping site, with a 3 stars rating and a heated pool, welcomes you to a calm and warm environment away from the main highways. LESTAP camping is the perfect place to let your children wonder about in complete safety.

The privilege of being located near the little lake of Albine, right next to the forest and at the end of a road enables you to distance yourself from a busy social life and just enjoy the piece and quiet of the countryside.

The camping is near Castres and Mazamet. You’ll be able to ressource yourselves far from the stress of your everyday lives. Here, you will find all the comfort of a quality stay with 42 terraced pitches on 2.2 hectares of nature enabling you to enjoy some privacy for yourselves.

You’ll be able to make the most out of the heated pool and it’s paddling pool for the little ones. There is also a snack bar, a play area with inflatables, trampolines and a shared barbecue area to socialise.

The lake, located 50 meters below, is delightful for those who love fishing.

For our athletes out there, you’ll be able to indulge in hiking adventures (numerous PR, GRP of the Haute Vallee du Thore), you are in the perfect place for mountain biking with over 250 kilometres of marked trails. As for bicycle tourism we have our old railroad tracks and multiple little mountain routes to enjoy.

You’ll also be able to appreciate the cultural heritage and historical heritage of the Haut Languedoc area, of the Haute Vallée du Thoré, of Mazamet, Albi, Castres, Cordes sur Ciel, Lautrec, Carcassonne,... and just generally the Black Mountain areas.

Welcome to Camping Lestap, a family campsite located in the Tarn department, in the heart of Occitania. Nestled at the foot of the Montagne Noire and close to the departments of Hérault and Aude, our campsite is ideally located for holidays in the heart of nature. Camping Lestap is spread over 2.2 hectares of greenery, offering spacious and shaded camping pitches for tents, caravans and campingcars.

Our campsite is perfect for family holidays with a heated swimming pool and a paddling pool for the little ones. Children can have fun in complete safety on the playground equipped with inflatable games and trampolines, while parents can relax at the snack bar located near the pool.

PITCHES AND ACCOMODATION

We offer a variety of accommodations to suit all the needs of our holidaymakers. Our camping pitches are suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with areas ranging from 90 to 220 m², guaranteeing space and privacy.

For those who prefer the comfort of a mobile home or chalet, we offer several rental options:

Mobile homes for 4 to 6 people, ideal for a comfortable family holiday.
Chalets for 6 to 8 people, equipped with a bicycle room.
Wooden cabins for 4 to 5 people, perfect for an immersion in nature.

Camping Lestap is equipped with quality infrastructures for the pleasure of our campers. Take advantage of our aquatic area including a heated swimming pool and a paddling pool, for moments of fun and relaxation.

We also provide you with a collective barbecue, a snack bar, and a fresh bread and pastries ordering service. For children, a playground with fun and safe equipment is available.

There is no shortage of activities at Camping Lestap. The Albine Lake, located only 50 meters away, is perfect for fishing. Hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts can explore more than 250 km of marked trails, as well as hiking and cycling trails.

The surrounding area is full of cultural and historical treasures. You can visit Mazamet, Albi, Castres, Cordes sur Ciel, and Carcassonne, as well as discover the heritage of the Haut Languedoc and the Montagne Noire. Our holidaymakers will also appreciate the many water activities, canoeing, and walks in the middle of nature.

CAMPSITES

We offer spacious and well-appointed camping pitches in Albine, perfect for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Our pitches are available in two sizes:

Pitches from 180 to 220 m²: Ideal for those looking for more space and privacy.
Pitches from 90 to 110 m²: Perfect for shorter stays or small camping setups.

All our camping pitches are located in a green setting, on terraces, guaranteeing a pleasant view and easy access to the campsite's amenities.

MOBILE HOMES

For those who prefer modern comfort, our mobile homes offer an ideal solution. We have several types of mobile homes to meet different needs:

Mobile homes for 4 to 6 people: Equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay, including a kitchen, bathroom and comfortable living areas.
